US-only at launch. revv.fm currently collects waitlist signups from the United States only. If you are outside the US, the signup form is unavailable and we do not collect your email through it. This policy describes the data practices for our US waitlist.

Data you give to us
We collect the email address you give us when you join the launch waitlist. We use it for one purpose: to email you when the revv.fm beta opens. After you confirm your address (double opt-in), we email you once when beta opens; we do not send marketing newsletters or sell or rent your email. Trusted third parties help us store the waitlist and deliver that email: Kit, Inc. f/k/a ConvertKit, Inc. (list management and the confirmation email) and Resend (delivery of the launch email).

Among the types of Personal Data that revv.fm collects, by itself or through third parties, there are: Trackers, Usage Data, IP address, browser fingerprint, browser information, email address, clicks.

Personal Data may be freely provided by the User, or, in case of Usage Data, collected automatically when using revv.fm. Unless specified otherwise, all Data requested by revv.fm is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for revv.fm to provide its services. In cases where revv.fm specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without consequences to the availability or the functioning of the Service. The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. Retention time
Unless specified otherwise in this document, Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for and may be retained for longer due to applicable legal obligation or based on the Users' consent.
Waitlist email retention. We keep your email on the launch waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or the waitlist is discontinued, after which we delete or anonymize it. We keep it only as long as needed for that one purpose: to email you when the beta opens. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing support@revv.fm; we action deletion requests promptly. Transient anti-abuse data (the keyed, non-reversible hashes used for rate limiting) auto-expires within minutes and is never tied to your identity.

Hosting and backend infrastructure
This type of service has the purpose of hosting Data and files that enable revv.fm to run and be distributed, or to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features or parts of revv.fm. Some services among those listed below, if any, may work through geographically distributed servers, making it difficult to determine the actual location where the Personal Data are stored.
Managing contacts and sending messages
This type of service makes it possible to manage a database of email contacts, phone contacts or any other contact information to communicate with the User. These services may also collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by the User, as well as when the User interacted with it, such as by clicking on links included in the message.
Spam and bots protection
This type of service analyzes the traffic of revv.fm, potentially containing Users' Personal Data, with the purpose of filtering it from unwanted parts of traffic, messages and content that are recognized as spam, or protecting it from malicious bot activity.

revv.fm does not run advertising. We do not use interest-based or targeted advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of because we do not do it in the first place.
users outside the united states
revv.fm operates US-only at launch. We accept waitlist sign-ups only from the United States, and the form is blocked for visitors outside the US, so we do not knowingly collect or store personal data from residents of the European Union / EEA, the United Kingdom, or other regions. Because no EU/EEA personal data is collected here, the GDPR does not apply to this waitlist. If we expand outside the US in the future, we will update this policy with the applicable regional rights before collecting any such data.

You provide it indirectly when you navigate revv.fm, as some information is automatically observed and collected. revv.fm is intended for adults. By signing up you confirm you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18, and we never knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13 (in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). If you believe a minor has provided us their email, contact support@revv.fm and we will delete it promptly.

Legal action
The User's Personal Data may be used for legal purposes by the Owner in Court or in the stages leading to possible legal action arising from improper use of revv.fm or the related Services. For operation and maintenance purposes, revv.fm and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with revv.fm (System logs) or use other Personal Data (such as the IP address) for this purpose.
